Hey everyone, KC here. I’m new and bringing one Stiles Stilinski into the fold while getting back into the RP game saddle. Nice to meet you all. This place sounded neat, and someone asked nicely so I thought I'll take this leap. (I’ll rein in the horse puns after this, I promise.)

I’m bringing him in at the beginning of season 5, where most of the Teen Wolf crew are getting ready for the start of senior year, after the summer holidays. He’s a smart mouth, prickly 17 year old with a paranoid streak due to previous canon events, so it’ll take a bit for him to really warm up to people. But hey, talking to others never hurts, and there are worse ways to learn the ins and outs of this place after all. You never know what the things he hears can add up to in the future.

Just a heads up though, I can be a slow tagger. So apologies ahead of time.

Yay, you made it! I totally meant to be on top of this, but I got distracted coding because I have the attention span of a gnat if I don't have Outlook yelling at me to tell me I have tags.

So, yesss! Lydia is from post S4 but pre S5. That said, Stiles can catch her up if he wants or just let her be blissfully ignorant of the future. Can't wait to play with you, Lydia will be so stoked!

There probably isn't much? Besides whatever they decided to do over the summer break, and the couple people who'd left ... they're kind of in the eye of the storm at the moment. And a familiar face is A++.

(With the treasonous actions list, staying out of trouble here is probably going to be a problem for him, tbh.)

Yeah, no really though. I've been just toggling through my LJ-Juggler and refreshing my inboxes every so often but it's really getting old doing that.

Oh, I read your thing wrong, you said beginning of S5 so yeah there probably isn't much, that's cool. She'll be really glad to see him and she'll make sure her roommate programs Gucci (Lydia's Petbot) to have threat proximity sensors and GPS scrambles for Stiles so that he's extra special safe and no one can track him in the complex.

Kind of dreading the point when everything catches up again, and there is actual backlog that comes up.

S5 is kind of a mess that way, with the way they cut and paste events to pull of the flashback intro. Between them, and others, they'll probably work out other ways to mess up security without being obvious about it too.

Yeah, I...watched 5A and noped it out of the show. I might go back and watch 5B and 6 when 6 is over, since it's the final season, just so that I have the full canon under my belt but I'mma have to marathon that shit, I can't be spending every Teen Wolf Tuesday or Moonday or whatever day they air it now being annoyed, I gotta get it all crammed into a few days of "wtf happened to this show :(" so I'm not grouchy forever haha

I mean maybe they should start. They could have contests. Make bets and keep score. Good times. ;)

Following along to get the gist of what's going on has been more than enough for me. Though I do have a soft spot for some of the mythology they introduce, and there are some in S6 that I remember obsessing about when I was younger. But the whole drama parts they're going for? Yeah... not really worth turning on a television or stream for. I'm going to send ad revenue elsewhere. Mostly, the show is the show, and besides touching base every once in a while - we don't have to cross paths often.

... Betting pools. Yes. That can either end in hilarity or disaster. Or a mix of both.

I haven't heard anything about the upcoming season and I heard very little about last season, so I'm not sure what you're referring to, but I think I'll have to watch at some point just to have it all in my wheelhouse in case I decide I need or want it. Haha two ships passing in the night, eh? I like that.

I mean if Stiles brought that up, I imagine there are a small handful of characters that would egg him on with that idea lmao

I saw a couple of gifsets from the SDCC trailer release. But they are following up on some threads they laid out earlier. When exactly is questionable, but hey "something's coming" is a vague enough hint to use it over and over ad nauseum.

It's a strategy that works out pretty well. You can keep the bar low for actual canon (because it is profit based/liable to be adjusted to suit sponsor needs in disappointing ways), but have better expectations of what the fans manage to pull together for themselves.

As long as he's not the one organizing it. Or picking the code names for people.

Ooohh I just watched a trailer and actually that looks infinitely more interesting than the past two seasons combined, tbh. I might have to catch up sooner than I thought, I don't know. I'll read some reviews and see.

When you get the Wild hunt involved, things should always be more interesting, or you have failed so much, even the lost ET game looks good in comparison. That said, it does not excuse the revolving door for villains the show can't seem to get rid of.

Like hair pulling and rolling around fight? Or ice cubes down your shirt, steal all the screws from your chair fight?

(There have to be some names they can agree on.)

I'm Spencer. I play Steve Rogers, who is basically nearly everyone's dad at this point, and Felicity Smoak, who is a total newbie when it comes to Alpha. I don't know much about Teen Wolf, but I've played with a lot of TW characters in the past, so I can't wait for us to write great things together!

And that's totally cool, there's plenty to use to fill in the gaps. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the DC TV side of things, besides the now-cancelled Constantine series and that one crossover episode because Vertigo was my go to.

hey hey welcome to alpha! i'm rin, i play this jerk samantha groves (aka root!) from person of interest. she's a hacker and an ex-assassin, but in alpha she's more interested in trying to play the system to survive and hopefully thrive eventually. she's got some ulterior plans but nothing so far that directly hurts specials :D

and don't worry, i can be a pretty slow tagger sometimes too! everyone here so far has been amazingly understanding whenever i have less time / ability to keep up on things daily <3
