Daycycle 124 Plotting Post

This is an OOC Plot Post where players can discuss plot for Daycycle 124 with one another, all in one, organized place. Not all players have accounts or like trying to keep up with plotting on Plurk, so we thought we would offer up a second option for plotting which won't be in danger of being archived where we can't see them later.

We understand that Plurk is more prominent when it comes to OOC plotting, but again, not everyone has it. Basically, all my guys are going to be there and will be capable of doing some damage. They probably won't all emerge unscathed, but I think they'll all end up just fine.

I know I have plans for Ronan with Lydia and Adam, but everyone else is relatively free game.

Allison & Tony

- Allison will definitely be in the Commissary when everything goes down. I'm planning on getting her a little roughed up (not a lot, she has a new job that she doesn't want to miss after just getting it after all). I'm going to do an open post for her, so anyone is welcome to kick ass with her, or she can help someone if needed, too.

- I'm debating on whether or not to do an open post for Tony in this DC, especially because he's really not the type to be at the Commissary for dinner (because, really, what are healthy eating schedules), but I'm open to throw him into anything, if anyone needs/wants him.

Steve is shaking his head SO HARD right now.

I feel like ... if Steve is at the Commissary he'd get there late because he gets pinged that this is going down. I'm guessing that maybe he'd see this from Gracie's live coverage (but I'm gonna go post in Kristi's OOC thing to check). Mostly, I know that Steve + heroism antics is pretty normal at this point, so I kind of want to give other Specials a chance to handle this / defend themselves without my boy barreling in.

That said, if anyone wants Steve to help, let me know and I can have him tag in and fight with you!

Otherwise, he might actually be trying to negotiate his way into IntSec today. To see if they'll share details of the judge's murder if he shares details of the assassin's murder. lol wtf official bureaucratic teamwork? NEVER.

Do you think that Gracie would cover this live, as soon as it starts happening? Because that could be a good way for Steve to at least, find out about it when it happens, as opposed to afterwards.

Okay but seriously. I'm thinking that Steve would have her basically go through speed/endurance training until she can ace that running time. But unlike normal, Steve would be a little distracted at times when he comes to check in on her, b/c he's worried about the integrity of Armed Forces right now. Is that something you would be down with? We don't have to play it, but I'm guessing it's a good way to frame her morning / it's what Steve would have planned for her on her first day.

Definitely feel free to see Gracie's live coverage. I've got an in character day post up for her now. She's using her cold gun to try and save as many specials as possible. He's welcome to come help her or whatever.

Buffy will also be there doing here thing as will Ronan. Honestly, I'm okay with anything that pings you.

Steve sees Gracie's coverage, which is why he know to get there. And he and Ronan get to fight together for a little bit. Because lol what is trust except having each other's backs in battle.

But yes! Lovely. In my head this is kind of like a movie scene where Steve floats in and out of battles as he moves from area to are, so basically we can do like a vignette.

Clint

SO Clint has been stealing weapons since... pretty much the day he got here. Because it's Clint. He's been using his job in Weapons Testing to take away pieces of weapons inside his jumpsuit and reassemble them later, along with some other things. Most of them have been moved to the Specials' secret headquarters but there's a couple of places (not monitored by cameras, of course) where there's small caches. None of them are at or very close to the Commissary, though, since that's such a public spot with too many people passing through it to be sure of keeping something hidden. But if anyone's not in the Commissary when the fighting breaks out, wants to jump in, and is close CR with Clint, feel free to assume he told them about where he hid stuff so they can come in armed.

That said, I want to get Clint involved in this because I love writing action scenes, and one thing he carries around with him all the time is a collapsible baton (like he briefly used in CW). This is the kind of thing he's good at, and he hasn't let his training slack since coming to Alpha. If anyone wants to team up with him or needs some help, let me know.

Izzy & Prim

Sooooooo....if anybody was thinking about hurting their character during this weekchange I'd really love to throw Prim at them. She's all about being a healer/medicine and helping people. It's what she has always gravitated toward and the last time she tried to go help people in some sort of crazy situation she died. So, obviously, having her help someone in this case would be pretty good for her. If anybody is interested! Otherwise I can very much see her being the damsel. I may have her try to save an NPC if nobody wants her!

And then Izzy I'm torn. I'd like to have her there to show off her fighting a little bit considering I haven't let her do that yet. So, she's available for a save should someone need it. She's investigating deaths, but a girl's gotta eat y'know! If I don't throw her in it's likely she was in the lab/caught up in the investigations to help Barry & Steve, but I'd like to throw her in, I think!

How would you feel about either Jack defending Prim because how can you not save the cute little duckling? Or seeing how incredibly competent at kicking ass Izzy is and being super inappropriately attracted to it? Cause a woman (or man, really) who can handle themselves in a fight and/or under pressure totally turns his crank. Like he really needed a reason to like her more.

I almost want him to go wandering into the ironing meeting just to see what the hell it could possibly entail. Anyone interested in going with him?

Morgana is also going to be showing Jack the super secret clubhouse. So it would probably be pretty awesome to have some people there for him to talk to and to have the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing they all hate the computer with the burning fervor of a thousand suns. It was so lonely thinking he was the only one.

I think there's something really hilarious and amusing in Jack seeing competent Izzy, actually! #BadassWomenFTW or something like that, anyway! But I'd totally be into that and they haven't talked much since the Charity Ball stuff, so it's beeeen a while!

Lets be honest, even aside from protecting him it'd be an interesting school project: 101 ways to tie up Captain America. Though she's still fairly certain that sitting on him would also work. He's very adverse to upsetting her and she's good at the big sad eyes.

Yes, they should! Morgana once picked up a fork in canon because it looked like a fight was going to break out at a feast and ladies don't get fun pointy things. The Anti-Specials types definitely bit off more than they can chew. The Computer has as well.

Clint's good but he's not that good. Short of concrete or lead, there's probably not a lot of ways to make Cap stay down. The sitting on him would likely work better.

Sweet! Plans! And seriously, what with all the hand-to-hand fighters the Specials have, and the ones that managed to get their hands on weapons... yeah, twenty's not gonna be enough.
