This is an OOC Plot Post where players can discuss plot for Daycycle 129 with one another, all in one, organized place. Not all players have accounts or like trying to keep up with plotting on Plurk, so we thought we would offer up a second option for plotting which won't be in danger of being archived where we can't see them later.

Ah, that new post smell. It's weird being the first one. Anyway! Big day for Jack.

So, ok, the day before (daycycle 128) Jack had Nat and Clint on the Teela show for an interview about winning the dance contest and had an "accident" where he got hurt and ended up needing medical care. Paley, Tai and I are still working on getting that all posted. They were trying to drum up some sympathy and confirm that, yes, the riot did happen and people got hurt. Don't worry, he didn't tell anyone else what was going on just in case he got (gets?) in trouble for it. He wanted everyone to be able to honestly say they had no idea.

Anyway, Teela's dead and that sucks, but he also sees an opportunity to give another boost to that sympathy play. He'll be going around collecting stories from people who knew Teela, even a little bit. Embellishments are encouraged. He wants to get as many Specials as possible on camera talking about how much they liked her and how sad they are that she's gone, just in case. He will probably gather these stories before he asks the computer if he can have permission to do a memorial special, but he'll want to move quickly before anyone else tries to do the same thing.

I don't think either one of mine knew her, but Jack is welcome to pull the roomie card and have Allison pretend to be sad about what happened?

Hmmm. Would she maybe be able to convincingly say something about admiring her even though she didn't know her? For whatever bullshit reason. Most of the citizens didn't know her personally, but he knows they'll still miss her. He's hoping that, whatever someone is feeling about the loss, he'll be able to show that there's at least one Special who is also feeling it. More of the "we're just like you" thinking to make it harder to wish harm on them.

Yeah, she would. She has a very 'do what needs to be done' mentality, so if he pitches it as that, that he's building the "we're just like you" thinking, she'll do it.
